Infection
Control
Swine Flu pandemic threat.
Our KSU tests validate our claims to kill the Avian Flu virus H5N8 - a particularly virulent strain of microorganism.
Dr James Marsden, from Kansas State University states that
"That gives a good indication of how the product can be expected to perform on other strains. It is not economically feasible to test for every strain or mutatio that can be found."
Masks are simply not going to solve this problem!
"If you fly on a plane, you have a one in 10m chance of being killed. If you go into hospital, you have a one in 300 chance - and not from the illness you went in with".
Sir Richard Branson, newly appointed vice-president of the Patients Association
’In 2008 we know that working together there is more to do. The Government’s priorities for the coming year will be to do all we can to support you as you work to bear down on hospital infections and improve access to care. We have committed additional investment to MRSA screening and deep cleaning of our wards in order to help you.’’
Gordon Brown, Prime Minister
New Year message to NHS Staff, Department of Health website, 1 January 2008
"Doctors are running out of medicines for potentially deadly infections and hospital superbugs, the public health watchdog has warned."
Dr David Livermore,HPA scientist
Daily Telegraph/September 11th 2008
"Hospital acquired infections are a global problem. We have made good progress bringing down infection rates, but we have to adopt new techniques if we are to go further."
Alan Johnson, Secretary of Health, September 2007
OUR TECHNOLOGY DOES GOES FURTHER!
"We're washing hands more than ever before but infections are going up...The aerial route is the most significant source of infection in the clinical environment "
Daily Telegraph and Sunday Times/October 2007
"Television remote controls are "hot spots" for cold infections, scientists say.
Other key sites include doorknobs, refrigerator door handles and bathroom taps. Expeerts from the University of Virginia, in Charlottesville, said touching one of these contaminated surfaces could transfer the rhinovirus to cause a cold infection."
Richard Alleyne, Daily Telegraph/October 31st 2008
Our unique technology eradicates germs, viruses and bacteria
on both SURFACES and in the AIR.
NOROVIRUS OUTBREAK
JANUARY 2008 in the UK began with a serious outbreak of Norovirus, causing vomiting and diarrhoea.
This is spread by both minute infected droplets in the air from vomit or diarrhoea or via contaminated surfaces, food or water.
"A fifth of the country's hospitals have wards that have been shut as the winter vomiting virus strikes staff and patients.
Cases of the virulent norovirus are expected to peak at about 200,000 a week over the next month."
Daily Telegraph/January 4th 2008
Norovirus has many strains and can be caught several times since immunity only lasts for around 14 weeks.
Reduce staff absenteeism by reducing CROSS INFECTION with our technology.
BECAUSE IT WORKS TO ERADICATE THE VIRUS ON BOTH SURFACES AND IN THE AIR.

AVIAN FLU VIRUS
"Wherever
in the world a flu pandemic starts, perhaps with
its epicentre in the Far East, we must assume we
will be unable to prevent it reaching the UK. When
it does, its impact will be severe in the number
of illnesses and the disruption to everyday life."
Sir
Liam Donalsdon, Chief Medical Officer, 1 March 2005.
How would YOUR hospital, care home, school, nursery or farm cope with an influenza pandemic?
There
are 3 main groups of flu viruses: influenza A,B
and C.
Influenza
B and C viruses infect people only, however, influenza
A viruses have the ability to cross the species
barrier and infect people, birds, and animals such
as pigs and horses.
Experts
fear that H5N1 subtype of avian influenza A could
trigger the next pandemic, for several reasons.
